While running a marathon has been a personal goal of mine for a while, it has always been my hope that when it happened, it could serve a greater cause.

My Aunt Phyllis connected me with the GO2 Foundation. She got involved after a dear friend of her's, Rebecca, passed away from non small cell lung cancer. Outside of this, both of my grandmothers died from other forms of cancer. I have friends who are currently fighting against this awful disease.
