Shortly after her initial diagnosis, Thekla was referred to Bonnie Addario as a person who could help. Bonnie and all the people at the Foundation were in Thekla's corner during her entire fight with cancer--getting referrals to the best doctors, identifying potential trials, keeping abreast of the latest research, and understanding the questions to ask and how to be one's own best advocate.
The Foundation has dedicated itself to providing and promoting the advocacy, education and research that is necessary to combat this terrible disease. Bonnie, the Foundation, and the work they do were very important to Thekla, and we'll appreciate all the support we can generate! Together we can make a difference!
