Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Late last year my youngest brother Steven was diagnosed with advanced stage lung cancer. You can read about his journey here on his personal blog: stevenmaxstern.wordpress.com Since then our family has made it our goal to help the efforts of the Bonnie J Addario Lung Cancer Foundation. They have been an amazing resource not only to us and my brother Steven but also to so many others stricken by this deadly disease. As part of her school "Avodah La'Olam (work of the world)" project my daughter Hannah researched the organization and raised funds on their behalf (see her final presentation below). Apryl and the kids will be doing a 5K fundraiser in September. As for me, I decided to compete in the Ironman Lake Tahoe again (on September 20th) and to dedicate my effort to raising funds for this amazing organization. I hope you will take some time to review the information below -- get educated and spread the word -- this is not just a smokers disease!
